Trump has already aligned himself with establishment Republicans, siding with Congressman Jim Banks (R-IN) in the race for the Indiana Senate. Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT), chairman of the Senate’s Republican campaign arm, was quick to offer Banks a quasi-endorsement in late January after former Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels declined to run for one of Sen. Mike Braun(R-EN) to run for the seat that has become vacant..
Trump’s endorsement came the next day.
But Daines, who works closely with McConnell, gave the clearest signal this week that Senate Republicans would seek a deal with the former president.
Daines endorsed Trump’s 2024 candidacy on Monday, becoming the highest-ranking Republican to date to support his run for the White House. So far, nine other Republicans have expressed their support for Trump.

A source close to agreeing pointed out that there is no deal between Daines and Trump and that the two have a long-standing friendship — Daines is a hunting partner with the former president’s son, Donald Trump Jr.
But GOP senators on Capitol Hill reacted positively to Tuesday’s move as a calculated move that could benefit Republicans in the 2024 election.

If Trump backs the establishment’s favorite Republican candidate in the GOP Senate primary, it could help them avoid costly power struggles. Republicans in the Senate could also benefit from Trump’s neutrality.

“Dream. Daines – I appreciate the delicacy of your work. And I’m certainly willing to give him some lee way while he tries to figure out how to handle it, “Senator John Cornyn (R-TX), former chair of the Senate Republican National Committee, told the Washington Examiner.

“I’m sure he thought of every angle. But the goal is to win back the majority, to win the election, and how you dothat is not that important to me.”
The Republicans were rocked by the midterm elections, which saw them lose their Senate seats despite the twin woes of crime and inflation and created a supportive political environment for the GOP.

McConnell’s allies have since set about aggressively recruiting Republicans for key Senate primary primaries, finding the quality of the candidates costing them majorities in states like Georgia, Pennsylvania and Arizona.
Daines’ -led move to the NRSC chairman stands in sharp contrast to his predecessor, Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL), whose approach to the contentious GOP primary contributed to a rift between the campaign arm and McConnell.

  2. Thanks for the tips about credit repair on this particular site. Things i would advice people is to give up this mentality that they can buy right now and pay back later. Like a society most people tend to do this for many factors. This includes vacations, furniture, in addition to items we wish. However, you should separate your current wants out of the needs. As long as you’re working to improve your credit score actually you need some trade-offs. For example you may shop online to save cash or you can turn to second hand stores instead of costly department stores to get clothing.
