Pittsburgh Steelers
The benefits of Omar Khan’s insight in the Chase Claypool trade were realised in his first draught as general manager. Joey Porter Jr., the son of former Steelers star and longtime assistant coach Joey Porter, was selected by Pittsburgh with the No. 32 overall pick, which effectively acted as a bonus first-round pick. But more importantly, with the addition of offensive tackle Broderick Jones (a first-round pick) and cornerback Porter Jr., the team has addressed two of its most glaring weaknesses. Keeanu Benton, a defensive tackle, was selected in the second round, and Darnell Washington, a tight end, in the third.
