Previously one of former President Donald Trump’s closest allies, former Attorney General Bill Barr mocked his former boss and declared Trump unable to hold the office of president in 2024, calling his way of thinking a “horror show.”
Geraldo Rivera, a regular on Fox News, questioned Barr about Trump’s suitability for the office at a City Club of Cleveland luncheon on Friday in Ohio.
“If you believe in his policies, what he’s advertising is his policies, and he’s the last person who could actually execute them and achieve them,” Barr retorted. He lacks the discipline, the capacity for strategic, linear thought, the ability to define priorities, and the understanding of how to move things forward in the system.
When left to his own devices, it is a horror show, continued Barr.
Barr warned of “chaos” and the possibility that Trump would destroy his own programme if he were to win the presidency again in 2024.
